Red class is the Reception class, the first class in Primary school and we work under the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.  

The teachers for Red class are Miss Laura Baggaley and Mrs Rachel Lione.  Miss Baggaley is also the Key Stage 1 Leader and part of the Senior Leadership Team.  Miss Baggaley teaches Red class on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday mornings.  Mrs Lione teaches Red class Thursday afternoons and Fridays. Mrs Lione is also the school SENDCo.    

The teaching assistants are Mrs Cheryl Gibbs and Mrs Jenny Wing.  

Red class children will each have a buddy from Silver Class.  This is a long-standing tradition at Caldecote and helps the younger children settle into school.  Being a buddy is a special privilege for our older children which forms part of their 'Jobs' rota that they do to help the wider school.
