At Caldecote Primary School, we recognise the importance of building and promoting strong links between the school and our wider community. These relations can help support pupils' learning experiences and broaden the opportunities we are able to offer. Our 'My Actions, My Safety, My Community' assemblies help support this along with a number of other initiatives. 

Community Clear Up

Each year, all pupils participate in a community clear-up event which aims to get all pupils litter picking in the local community. This is one way pupils can give back to the community they are a part of. Through this event we are promoting environmental responsibility, active citizenship and a sense of belonging. 

Christmas Fair

The Christmas Fair is a big date in our school calendar. This is an opportunity to welcome the local community into our school. Stalls are run by the school and eco council, our Year 6 pupils and local businesses and organisations.
