Red class is the Reception class, the first class in Primary school and we work under the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.  

The teachers for Red class are Mrs Duncombe and Mrs Rachel Lione.  Mrs Lione teaches Red class on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Mrs Duncombe teaches Red Class on Thursday and Friday.   

The teaching assistants are Mrs Gibbs and Mrs Wing.  

Red class children will each have a buddy from Silver Class.  This is a long-standing tradition at Caldecote and helps the younger children settle into school.  Being a buddy is a special privilege for our older children which forms part of their 'Jobs' rota that they do to help the wider school.
